The guideline for capital accumulation plans (CAPs), which put standards in place for setting up and managing CAPs across Canada, have been updated for the first time since 2004 by the Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities. This change, issued in response to an evolving retirement landscape, is intended to expand, clarify, and introduce new elements to the guidelines.

In this session, we’ll cover:

     • The essential role of CAP Guideline
     • The most notable changes, key themes, and our perspective on their impacts
     • What to keep in mind in applying the new guidelines
     • What the modernized CAP Guideline could mean for you.

Speakers: Catherine Biermann – Blue Cross
                    Angela Johnson – sanoLiving

Menopause in the Workplace – Perimenopause and menopause are both naturally occurring life transitions, yet they disrupt the lives of 3 in 4 working women with related symptoms that go well beyond occasional hot flashes and night sweats. Left unaddressed, these symptoms can cause as many as 1 in 10 women to leave the workforce in the prime of their careers. Join us for this practical and engaging discussion to learn about how companies can tailor employee benefits to help women thrive in the workplace at midlife.
