Please join the Kansas City Chapter for "Health Benefits Under COBRA: What You Need to Know" on November 21st at 12:00 pm Central. Presented by Christyona Pham, Senior Benefits Advisor, U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration.

The presentation will provide a general understanding of COBRA regulations and rules. There will be an emphasis on key responsibilities employers need to fulfill, including the different notice and eligibility requirements, providing proper documentation, and managing the ongoing administration of COBRA coverage. We will also address common pitfalls and challenges faced by employers, such as compliance issues with other federal laws, administering appropriate notices, and ensuring timely communication with beneficiaries.
